March the 2nd:
We arrived in the afternoon at 'The Observatory' apartments in Coffs Harbour to be ushered into our sapcious, modern, architecturally savvy apartments. If this was not enough pampering for us - Doug and Tui were given the right royal treatment - and lorded over all in their private, penthouse, ocean view apartment.
After errands were run in town we all gathered back to prepare for the presentation for the evening. Rod, Michael, The Steve's, Graham and myself watched the sunset over the harbour, sitting on our spacious cantilevered wooden balcony. Scotches and/or water in hand we counted our blessings - surely one of the most beautiful places in Australia.
Accommodation was provided as a donation to RRAAAM by Daniel, the manager, to the value of $600. Thank you Daniel, and god bless.
The evening presentation to the Rotary Club of Coffs Harbour:
On behalf of Steve Carroll and all of the RRAAM team I would like to thank the rotary club of Coffs Harbour for their generous support and outstanding hospitality in hosting RRAAAM this evening. Thank you ladies and gentleman, your club has certainly set the benchmark high - in all of the qualities that Rotarians value, respect and cherish.
